Hello Everyone!About Bogi and Enkhmaa
Thank you for your prayers for Enkhmaa and Bogi. With God's help they are recovering emotionally, taking things one day at a time. With the donations many of you made we were able to rent a first floor apartment for them for the next 6 months. They are very grateful to those who gave and asked me to pass on the message. So, "mash ikh bayarlalaa!" (Thank You very much!)
Their family still needs your prayers as they continue to heal. Bogi is studying in Bible school. He is also in his second year of university and working part time as a music leader on our church worship team. He stays busy and seems to be moving on with life a little faster than Enkhmaa. Please pray that God's grace be on her life so that she can move forward as well, and forgive herself.
Growing In Prayer
God is challenging us at CFM to increase our faith. Over the past month we have been fervently seeking God about this issue. Over and over again, He has been showing us that we need to trust Him in various areas. We are excited to see how our faith levels are increasing as He is working in us.
New Vision For Youth
During this time of increased prayer, we are all growing in ways we never imagined. One way is that God has given us new vision to reach the youth of Darkhan. Now that school has started and the students have poured back into town for the new school year, we can see especially the need to reach out to university students. These students come to Darkhan to study from all over the countryside, providing us with a great opportunity to share the Gospel with people we would normally have no contact with. Our youth ministry team has begun a prayer movement in the schools (grade schools up to universities--wherever there are Christians studying!) where students meet and pray for 5 minutes during breaks between classes. Students of all ages gather daily in prayer for each other, the city, their schools, teachers and classmates. They gather regardless of the church they attend. This has brought a deeper level of unity and we can see the benefits of this kind of fellowship already!
Strengthening Families
Another thing we have been focusing on is building up and strengthening the families at CFM. One way we are doing this is gathering weekly for a time of snacks, fellowship, and really good marriage-building classes. Melanie and I have immensely enjoyed these times of pouring into these couples and are learning a lot ourselves. Most of our couples are very young and it's encouraging to see them grow in their relationships with each other and in their walks with God.

Let The Children Come
We are very excited about building our children's church services back up. Last summer we were not allowed to do children's church due to the Entrovirus scare. Our children's attendance dwindled over the summer but last Sunday we were so happy to start back up again. The children were excited, too! Please pray as we continue to pour into this area of ministry. We believe it is a very important part of our church and vision.
Wanting To Start Translation
Melanie and I were recently discussing the need for good Christian books in the Mongolian language. We are seeking God about translation, permission and publication of books such as "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis and "Hinds Feet On High Places" by Hannah Hurnard, just to name a few. We believe that the Christian Mongolians can really benefit from reading these type of books. Please be praying for this new venture and for the equipment and time we will need to make these things possible.
Please join us in praying for the following things as well:

Please join us in praying for the following things as well:
- A new computer. Ours is over 6 years old and is on its last leg!
- Our marriage encounter weekend that will take place in late October. For God's provision for the couples who wish to attend and for changed lives and closer marriages.
- For health. Hetee is in the process of treating a stomach ulcer that has been causing problems.
- For an increase in our family finances. With the prices of some things doubling and even tripling, we are trusting in God to continue providing for our needs.
- For the time and the finances to visit family and friends in the States in the summer of 2009.
